A fitness boot camp in Lincolnshire used by “stars” of TV reality shows The Only Way is Essex and Made in Chelsea is at the centre of a planning row.

The operators of a military fitness centre in Heydour want retrospective planning permission for the change of use from residential use to a mixed use of residential and training centre. South Kesteven District Council have yet to make a decision.

According to reports, nearby residents claim that their lives have been made “miserable” by the camp. One was quoted as saying, “We do not appreciate being disturbed by a drill sergeant screaming commands to overweight people as they struggle to touch their toes.”
