The former Take That singer is in a row with neighbours over his plans to build a new fence along the driveway of his £9 million pound home in Wiltshire.
The parish council have objected to the plans on the basis that the new fence would “adversely affect the visual amenity” of Compton Bassett church across the road. The council says it has no objections in principle to increased security and privacy but suggested a mature hedge instead.
Robbie lives at the house with wife Ayda Field and children Teddy, age 3, and 18 month old Charlton.
The unfortunate fact that the house is next to a landfill site has previously thwarted plans to sell it.
The application is to be decided by Wiltshire Council.
Robbie previously was involved in a planning row over his house in London with veteran Led Zeppelin rocker Jimmy Page who objected to Robbie’s plans for refurbishment on the grounds that the works would damage Jimmy’s house.
Robbie had to withdraw two sets of plans, although a third set were approved
